I am really looking forward to seeing this movie. I read the book, and the guy has a pretty incredible story.

I haven't read the book, but it seems this film might be projecting an overt religious narrative as it's underlying message.

Who knew Bradley Cooper was THAT guy and THAT kind of an actor?

Great movie and now on my top 10 list of war movies, instant classic.

My son and I were going to watch Hot tub time machine 2 (his choice he picked last night) but I asked him if he wanted to see American Sniper instead when we were in line.

It was the best decision of the week.

The movie really brought home the fact that because these come home in one piece, physically, they are still coming home broken. He was a bad ass when he was over there, because he had to be. Both for his sake, and his brothers' sakes. When he was finally "done" with the military, he could not simply turn it off. He still needed the outlet, and unfortunately,

I texted Mick that I saw it and he told me to read the book. He finished reading the book and saw the movie the next day.

This film was excellent and worthy of an Oscar in my opinion. Maybe you'd prefer watching a movie that shows Isis chopping folks heads off.
