He is a more complete running back than Todd Gurley. Laugh away, I honestly believe he is a more complete back without being a homer. Just watch each back play, it's obvious.

Oh for fuck's sake. :L

I'm pretty sure most people know that I am a realistic husker fan and am more often than not hard on the team. Ameer is honestly the most complete back in the country imo. Gurley is just getting pimped out pretty hard by ESPN and the SEC coverage. By seasons end it'll show.

Mid majors often get overlooked.

Takes a mid major to know a mid major. 32-23 over the last five years. Not one player drafted in 2013. Jackson Jeffcoat already been cut twice.

Ameer gets his stage this Saturday. 100 yards will look good against the Michigan State defense.

I will agree that nationally, he may be overlooked just a little. He is a good running back.

Still, I like watching Gurley run though. Dont know if he can block or how good at catching he is, but damn I like watching him run.

Nobody is paying attention to Nebraska, at all.
I don't understand it.
They just don't.

This same time frame in 2000, Oklahoma was ranked 14th behind four 1 loss teams.

When you haven't done shit in over a decade, even blue bloods have to earn their rewards.

Except that Pelini has had 9 and 10 win seasons the last 6 years.
Prior to 2000 Oklahoma was sub .500 the previous 6 years.

Big Difference.

We love, admire and appreciate your relationship with us, Nebraska. But, you're getting a little pushy and needy, so I think we're gonna have to see other people.

Minnesota, come here you hot bitch! We about to furitp!

That in part is a good portion of the problem. Nebraska hasn't beat anybody worth a shit yet. Most I'm sure are waiting for the "Pelini" to show up and we start shitting the bed.

Nobody trusts this team as a valid top 15 contender because we've fallen woefully short in big games time and time again in Pelini's previous 6 years.

This weekend's game at Michigan State will shed a lot of light on whether Nebraska is a fringe top 25 team like normal, or a legit top 15 to maybe even top 10 caliber team. I just hope we don't get blown out again to be honest.
