The seeds are based on the career rushing yards. The format is the same as the Heisman one on the CFB Forum. However, I am leaving this to be from Sunday to Saturday.

The winner of 1st matchup wins rematches.
Higher seed wins in case of a draw.

Let me know what you think of the bracket. I kind of don't like it because it seems odd that Jim Brown and Walter Payton will most likely meet in the 2nd round and Barry Sanders in on the same side.

But it is also an offseason thing and just interesting seeing the different players matched up. These mean nothing but entertainment every so often, depending on the matchup.

If enough people don't like it, I will create another kind of bracket. If hardly anybody cares how the bracket is, than I will continue it.

This is actually a lot tougher than the 8 v 9 matchup. Emmitt had a "better career" but I'm not 100% sure he was a better athlete/player. Thurman Thomas was fantastic with how versatile he was, and he had a much better top gear than Emmitt. Edge to the all time leading rusher, however.

Thurman Thomas gives you yards. Emmitt Smith gives you touchdowns.

Both of those teams were seriously stacked.

I gotta go with Emmitt Smith but it was a very hard decision. Thurman Thomas had a great career but I feel as if Emmitt Smith's career was just a little bit better.
