I'll take Earl as a rb anyday everyday allday. They can have all the rest. Just like your gif shows, when you needed a man to get the job done, give the ball to Earl.

Back a few years ago, I was in Tyler visiting my aunt and her family. My uncle took me to a hs football game between R E Lee and John Tyler. Their 3 kids went to R E Lee. We went to see Earl Campbell play. For me, it was just another high school game! As the years passed, of course it was way the hell more than that!



Looking back on that, I believe that game was played at the Rose(?) Stadium. And if I remember, one of the first places outside the pros to use Astoturf. At least for me that was the first place I saw it in play other than the Astrodome.
