It has been a great season for the yanks , great team play, chemistry and individual successes too, heck geetardee might even get MOY , still want someone else, but no one expected so many wins .... Hope they continue to play and have fun, great learning experience for the young guns!

you don't start a "kid" who has never pitched in a playoff game at any level in his life in a do or die, thats a no brainer. clueless joe is lucky the team is stacked with good relievers!

now he pitches gray, lol, the guy who flat out sucks... i guess tananka's last outing wasn't proof enough for you to know how much a baffoon he really is! baffoons really do think alike!

Who should he have pitched the WC game then? So basically you eliminated Sevy, Tanaka, and Montgomery from pitching in the WC game due to no playoffs game. Gray sucks according to you. So basically you would have thrown CC in a one game must win situation?

As for tonight, who did you want him to pitch? Do me a favor and check out Tanaka road splits this season and let's talk.

Gray didn't pitch well but the Yanks bats should have performed better. 4 runs isn't a lot. The bats put zero pressure on the Indians pitchers tonight.

Chances are when you have an ERA approaching 7 in 15 starts away from Yankees stadium while having an ERA slightly over 3 in 15 starts in the bronx, the manager will do everything in his power to make sure Tanaka pitches in Yankees stadium in the playoffs. Not exactly rocket science. There isn't a manager in baseball who would have pitched tanaka tonight or tomorrow with those terrible splits.
