The division is over. Both teams are playing too well. No way are we making up 3 or 4 games over the final 11 days of the season.

If the Yanks make the ALDS then if Girardi is smart, he needs to do everything in his power to only have Tanaka pitching home games. His road splits this year are awful.

Not sure if this include the game tonight but these are his road splits this season.

4-6 with 6.14 ERA. OPP BA of .290.

At the stadium his #'s look like this.

8-5 with 3.48 ERA. OPP BA of .230

If I'm the Yanks, this would be my ALDS pitching rotation assuming Sevy pitches the WC game.

Game 1- Sonny Gray
Game 2- CC Sabathia
Game 3- Luis Severino
Game 4- Tanaka

Should be noted that I fully expect Joe to swap CC and Tanaka which will be a horrible move IMO.

CC road splits are so much better. Actually much better than he's been at the stadium.

5.2 IP, 6 H, 8 R, 7 ER, & 3 HR. You would be on crack if you start Tanaka on the road in the ALDS.

BTW 15 runs allowed in his last 2 road starts (14 ER). 3 Runs allowed in his last 2 home starts
