He really need to lose his job soon. I trust Betances much more. Even Robertson with the way this guy been pitching this year. A 3.97 ERA for a closer is terrible. It is almost as bad as a starter with an ERA of 5

it's not a good ERA for a reliever, but at the same time, ERA isn't the greatest stat for relievers. A few bad appearances can fuck up any reliever's ERA. That being said, he has been more hittable than usual and his strikeout rate is his worst since 2011 (though 12.8 is still excellent).

I agree but he's been bad this year. I have much more trust in our other main 4 pen guys.

Did they say something about him getting hurt. I thought it was just my wishful thinking that saw Chapman hobble after touching first base.

They spoke about it on YES and Feinman tweeted about it as well. I really hope he is gone for two weeks or so. I can't trust this guy right now. With 3 series vs Boston and Cleveland in the next 2 weeks, I prefer not to see him closing games in a big spot.

The Mets were actually what the doctor ordered for the Yanks lol. A 4 game sweep would be nice but I'll take 3 of 4. Just don't go to Queens the next 2 nights and lose both games.
