Orioles fight all the way back from 8-0 to tie it 8-8 after 8 inning
Just for Buck to dick around late and find a way to lose 9-8

Brad Brach has now cost them 5 losses from the 9th onwards, All 5 are gut-wrenching emotional devastating ones.

I dont even blame Brach anymore for these.
Buck will never ever ever use Blier or Givens in the 9th, because he plays favorites.

He doesnt even have the Zach Britton excuse anymore either.

One thing i noticed about chapman all year is his velocity is down. Last year he was frequently touching 103 or 104. This year he rarely reaches 102. Also last night every pitch he threw was a fastball. What happened to his slider and change? 23 pitches and all fastball

Terrible job of managing the pen by Girardi. Betances threw 10 pitches while Warren threw 15 pitches in his inning of work. Both guys should have been allowed to pitch for another inning.

1st and 2nd no outs but Didi can't lay down a bunt. Freaking incredible. No excuse why it should be 2nd and 3rd with 1 out

Yankees deserve to lose this game after Didi couldn't put a bunt down in the 14th inning with runners on 1st and 2nd. What a disgrace

What an absolute dumpster fire of a game. I was kind of hoping we'd get to see position players pitch, but that could still happen tomorrow. Not the first time the Red Sox screwed Sale out of a win after a fantastic performance (Kimbrel fucked him against Toronto back in April)
