Nope, nothing going to change out of the break

Farmer and Miranda 4/5 hitters.

Nothing to suggest its serious yet

But forearm issues for Bieber, missing 1 start at least. Been affecting him 3-4 starts. MRI results coming.

Could impact Guardians in a few ways in terms of participation or trade value.

lets see how real that ERA is with Civale pitching in Texas tonight! .......

....

....

....

little worried.

just out of curiosity- what would an Ohtani package have to look like to rent him for half a season? what do you guys think?

Considering he would be the top addition to both a rotation and offense, you are looking at the price of trading for both the top pitcher and top position player. 3 top prospects and one or two established major league players as well. The Angels need to rebuild.

In Twins fashion we havent made it easy. But two wins against the lowly A's. Back to 1.5 up.

Tomorrow has the potential to turn this into a fantastic start to the 2nd half if both sweeps happen.

Or it could be a brtual day that sees the weekend as a push all things considered.

Is there something wrong with Kirilloff that both Kepler and Gallo started over him? Or is that just Rocco and the front office trying to be clever that either of them have value and they are trying to showcase it against the A's?

To me its to the point where Kepler is just going to keep playing until someone really wants him. Its almost a pride thing. Wont DFA him and wont bench him. Its wild.

Easiest answer though is we treat our youth like shit. We have no faith in them. One of the main reasons our offense sucks ass is because we never have rhythm because Rocco is OBSESSED with platoons. Even if numbers dont support it. Like our righty hitter doesnt hit lefties well, or the lefty on the mound actually sucks vs leftis(todays As pitcher for example).

But if we have no other options and we have to play same side hitting. We refuse to let the young guys prove themselves unless its the actual last resort. Julien is the best hitter on the team and granted he is currenlty 3/18 vs lefties in his young career. But he literally sits every time against them. AK has never through his career had wide splits.....he sits unless miranda gets hurt at 1st pitch and theres no option.

Its just annoying.

Very interested to see who of Wallner, AK, Julien play tomorrow vs the lefty. I think Julien is a lock to sit. I think Wallner gets a chance to play. AK is a toss up.

I just saw that Miranda was placed on the IL with a shoulder impingement and Wallner was recalled. Hope Baldelli plays him a little bit.

I was wrong. Sitting again today.

Kepler and Castro(slugging .330 vs lefties) get the priority.

Ugly, but massive weekend. The youth was punished again and the youth came through at the end again.

4 with Seattle much tougher. But right handed pitching. Young guns time to shine.

Also, Buxton is legit terrible. Total liability.

Arraez 148 OPS+(127 last year)

Julien 140 OPS+

So we traded Arraez, got back an All star starter and we have a replacement that makes up for the average gap with much more power.

Maybe, just maybe we should keep playing that Julien guy.

Sonny Gray is a gutless little bitch. Dude just loses his control out of nowhere all the time and melts down. Thanks for saving the pen jackass.

Demote Buxton to single A.

This team is Juliens and Kirilloffs

Sonny with potentially the worst inning in history in terms of conrtol in the 5th.

Twins get a run back on a Gallo bomb. Bottom 6 time and Rocco says "Go back out there Sonny you look great"

Lead off walk on 4 pitches. Then with that runner on 3rd and 2 outs. He walks another and ball 4 is a wild pitch for a run hahaha.

Cant make this team up. The veterans blow ass. The management blows ass. We cater to the veterans.

Ober hasnt pitched since 07/07. Comedic.

Bases loaded 2 outs. Pitcher just walked a guy and threw 3 straight balls.

Kepler hits a 1st pitch slow roller to 2nd.

But nah, this team doesnt need Matt Wallner to get Abs

so....from the opening day rotation the Guardians have exactly 1 guy left- Civale- who has missed over half his starts thus far because of injury.

Ughhh....good thing they know how to develop pitching- but this is starting to get ridiculous.

Shame Espino is hurt- he def. would have gotten a chance. Would have loved to see: Bieber, McKenzie, Williams, Bibee, Civale- with Espino and Quintrell in reserve.

I would have traded Buxton a couple of years ago.

When? He's always been hurt. His value was never there for other teams to give up anything significant.

Plus, up until this season, he was the most well-liked Twin. The causal fans would have had a big problem with that.

Naylor is absolutely raking right now

up to .311 avg., .875 ops, 15 hrs., 75 rbis

75 RBI's is 3rd in baseball---- which I have no clue how he has done it with the Guardians offense this year.

Kwan and Gimenez are definitely coming around

Bell is kind of coming around

Rosario is not a black hole any longer

definitely helping considering the pitching injuries.

Gotta say though---- with Bieber and McKenzie out- with Stephen getting blown up and Karinchak in the minors- this team probably does not have the pitching.
