This is the most poorly officiated game I've seen in the NHL in the last 2 years.

No consistency for either side. Ticky tack calls at weird times. Actual calls missed.


Just terrible. It made for a terrible product; just goes to show that the refs are usually pretty good.

I started the ripping of the officials when the Sens were leading.

Ottawa played a terrible game and the refs performed to their level.

Still calling for Heatley as captain?

I can't say whether it really was that bad since I didn't see the game but the refs have been getting worse. They tend to be very inconsistent. All I want is consistency with the calls. It makes it so much more enjoyable to watch.

Don't think I'm only referring to games envolving the Sens too. The refs are inconsistent across the board.

Of course. The worst part of a game like that is not my team got screwed, it's that the game itself was completely screwed. When the officials are so inconsistent you get a crap game. The players are hesitant to play a physical game but the refs miss enough calls to prevent he skill guys from doing their thing.

Hopefully we see a better effort from the Sens AND the refs tonight.

I don't know what a JFL-style conspiracy is, but I never said any such thing even close to the refs conspiring. I said my team played terribly and the refs performed just as poorly.

I know that in your fervor to bash all things Ottawa you might have misread, but it's all there.
