I can't wait to rewatch thee game this week and count up the yards he picked up after initial contact.

He makes our Offensive Line look way better than they actually are. Especially in the second half today when they got tired like they do and started allowing penetration.......

Abdullah is ridiculous. That is all I have ta say about that.

Damn right he is. I saw that in his HS film.

He's the most complete back NU's had since LP but he reminds me more of Rozier..

Over 160 yds rushing

200+ total yds.

Can't wait til' 2013 with Taylor, this set of rcvrs, and Abdullah in the skill positions. We're talking 83' scoring explosion if the O'line can play.

Meh.......Oregon tries to run the score up in the first half.........that's literally their gameplan. They don't even give a shit about their Defense.

Nebraska tries to at least establish drives on Offense to give their Defense some rest and time to make adjustments. We have enough firepower on the Offensive side of the ball to have scored 42 points in the first half today.

But no, Oregon would hang 69 on us right now....

I saw the Defense getting in better position today after the 1st quarter, which is something to build off of I guess.......but still the LBs don't have a clue what's going on out there.

Oregon would fucking plow us if we played them right now.

I don't think NU has the O'line to really make that firepower shine though. Not in a way to win out.

This offense will struggle against bigger D'lines than USM and Arky St. The question is are the skill positions enough to get the edge in those type of games?

Without seeing Mich St yet tonight, I think NU's got a good chance to go 6-2 minimum in B1G 10 play. That game at Mich St will quite possibly be a tie breaker for the division.

I honestly believe if we would have thrown the ball and ran our Offense as fast as Oregon does, we could put up at least 42 points on that Arkansas State team in the first half.

We established the running game and didn't look back. That's why we possessed the ball 10 more minutes than they did, even though we turned it over 4 times. It was clear we just wanted to out-physical that team.

Oregon beat Tennessee Tech today 63-14 and and Tennessee Tech possessed the football 38 minutes compared to Oregon's 22 minutes.

Certainly can't count NU out.

There doesn't seem to be any "complete" teams.

Actually all three backs looked great. Heard also showed great tenacity and determination picking up plenty of yards after contact. I think that they where telling the truth when they said the younger backs followed Burkhead's lead and took after him this past year.

Don't you think the Ark St. defense tackled today as we did last week and that contributed in making our backs look great? Just an observation. I agree that Abdullah looks great. I'm not sure his body can take 20 plus carries over a course of a season. This does not take away from how dynamic he is when he runs. He will be even more dynamic when Rex comes back.
