Menard ended up 17th, not bad but he needed to gain ground here, his cars haven't been very good this year. Unless he gets a surge he needs to win.

but of course not being far from the chase qualifiers is a good thing if you're catching them.

right now he isn't

hopefully his cars will get better as the year goes on, if so he's in a good spot.
