Never thought I would see the day that Boise fans have resigned themselves to sucking so bad.

These were my exact thoughts when I put this together.
Boise and West Virginia both at 6-6 meet in the #dontwanttobetherewhatthefuckbowl

We'd lose by 4 touchdowns if that happened. We are absolutely Gog awful in bowl games.

You have officially been removed from my Christmas card list. I can see 8-4 this year, I'll hang myself if they go 6-6. :D
Aw come on Mike...send him a shitty Christmas card!

I think I enjoyed seeing Utah kick their ass even more than seeing Clemson take them down in last season's classic. They are so incredibly good but the arrogance of some of their fans is just unbearably sickening.
Bama didn't want to be there against Utah. Same for their loss to OU in the Sugar Bowl a few years ago.

At least that is what I've been told.

These past two years have been pretty rough on us, every time we get a glimmer of hope those hopes get dashed quickly

I actually have those in my predictions thread already sir
Nice! I remember reading it last year. Good stuff. You nailed it with the tough OOC schedule. But they have been doing that for years and I guess it helps in recruiting and hopefully will help down the road.

Coach Harsin has done decent against Power 5 teams. In first game, he lost to #18 Ole Miss on the road and later that year beat a top 10 Arizona team to win the Fiesta Bowl. His overall record in his three seasons against Power 5 teams is 5-2, not bad. And of course only two of those games were at home in typical fashion. Those are the uphill battles that Group of 5 teams must deal with. It's really more what's going on within our measly conference by going two years in a row without winning it that pisses me off. I realize that the Mountain division is head and shoulders better than the shitty West division. It's not even close but the fact that we have only won four of our last nine games against our divisional opponents? Well not only is that completely unacceptable, it's flat out embarrassing and if it doesn't change immediately he needs to pack up his shit and get the fuck out of town.

This field is like playing on a pool table (a very big pool table) - advantage Boise State. They seem to have built probably the best mid major program in the NCAA ... maybe @outofyourmind is right at 6-6 but I would go with 9-3. I don't claim to be an expert like some others are, so I am going with gut feeling.

Anything short of 12-0 with that midmajor schedule will be a laughingstock.

I don't claim to be an expert, and I don't think any Alabama fan is either. Alabama has been so good for so long they don't understand what it's like in the "Real College Football World".

It mostly helps with the finances at first since SEC programs will pay you large sums of money

The best way too boost recruiting is for you guys to stun one of these teams eventually, once you do that everyone will know Arkansas State.

I think the bigger issue is the agonizing ways we take these defeats, we seriously take losses to the one division opponent we can't afford to lose to and it's a loss filled with mass turnovers (At least two of those recent conference losses featured us turning the ball over 7 fucking times), and we just make errors all over the place and beat ourselves. If we can ever stop tripping over ourselves we could go back to having a good season again.

Low blow sir

First you take our coach, then you take our assistants, then you take our recruits, now this?? Real low

And after taking all that Coach Pete and his Washington team still lost when they faced us.

It's all good. All the best to him and the Huskies. He's the man. Love the dude.

I say we go 8-4. No way do we beat AF this prevent defense we run just doesn't cut it. We go to WSU this year, and they won't spot us a pick 6 again. BYU and SDSU could go either way, so I count those as our other 2 losses. And then there is Wyoming and there coach is awesome, and has them playing good ball, so??
