I guess anything's possible but this doesn't seem like a good trade value for the Skins.
in essence we are getting another 1st rounder , mid to late , and 2 4th rounders and king thinks that we will go for that ?
now Rg3 hater math means its 2 number ones instead of swapping positions but still
Its simple math. IF they swap positions to get Mariota, plus give us another 1st rounder.. they used TWO 1st round picks on Mariota. Just like WE used 3 firsts and a 2nd to take Bob.
what is the total of net players gained ? if you swap a 1st its still one player one 1st , then they give you one and 2 4th's gives you a total of 4 guys the 1st's cancel each other out , what you are out is 1 st and 2 4ths
And what you spent on the player is 2 1st and 2 4ths. You refuse to acknowledge the pick that was ACTUALLY used on the player as the part of the cost for the player. I realize itsa to make it appear we got less raped on the deal than we actually did.. but bottom line, we could have had 4 players, instead we got one player... ergo he cost us 4 draft picks period.

I heard enough of this argument 3 years ago. The Redskins TRADED 3 1's and a 2 and got back a 1, so they TRADED 2 1's and a 2 but they SPENT 3 1's and a 2 for Griffin. In other words you are both right
As for this trade no Fing way is that enough.
If Mariota isn't taken by Titans at #2. Jets, Browns or other teams could be looking to jump up into the top 5. If someone trades into the top 4 then we are out of the deal but that does mean Gregory or another defensive player we might like has a better chance of landing to us. My dream scenario is we get the Browns 2-1st round picks plus more for are #5 pick.
