Every time a Yankee has deserved to win the award in the last 38 seasons, they've won it.

Altuve: 7.4 WAR
Sale: 8.2 WAR
Kluber: 7.1 WAR

Judge: 7.6 WAR

I really don't see how you can go wrong with Altuve/Judge/Kluber. They're all very defensible choices. Fangraphs rates Sale highly because of FIP/xFIP. Trout was the best hitter in the AL IMO, but he missed about 1/3 of the season.
