no one knew what this meant or what it was for, but they were booed loudly when escorted out.
ANTIFA Boston has taken responsibility, tho the people who dropped the banner deny that.

The boie in the green shirt in the next row directly above the sign - is he the one dating IT2?

Mets were the NL favorites this season

A WS and playoff team the past 2
"Mets were the NL favorites this season"

On what planet? Vegas had the Mets behind the Cubs, Dodgers, Giants, and Nationals going into the season. Not to mention, what does it matter what their preseason rankings are? They are a joke.

"Look, sweetheart, you are right on the cusp of celebrity status, a real A-lister. I can feel it! If we can find a way to push you over the top, you can give up this drab sports reporter gig and get some serious auditions for movies or a televisions series. You just need more exposure. You need to become a household name. Hey, I've got an idea...."

Whoopie! The Mets were preseason favorites. Doesn't change the fact that they actually suck. You think the Dodgers had it rough facing the Giants 19 times this year because they were "one of the favorites"?

It wont be easy, but we just may overcome, its what we do

"Sox/Phillies for an entire week straight sounds like a good idea"

Where you guys play this weekend? Pawtucket?

Uhh, to be fair to Delusional Donnie, they actually had a very talented team to start the year, and one that wasn't much different from the 2015 World Series club. Injuries -- which every team suffers -- were especially virulent among the pitching staff, which is why I am advocating for a better PED's department

You gonna complain about schedule in MLB as well? Red Sox have played more games against teams >.500 than the Yankees and have a better record in those games.

I may be alone in this

But im starting to sense the Indians are pouring a lot of emotion and energy into keeping this winning streak alive, which can be dangerous come October

I hate myself for saying this, but..."that's not the yankees fault."

ehh

i mean- i just dont agree

they are taking their time bringing miller back, playing a ton of kids like Erik Gonzalez, Yandy Diaz, Greg Allen--- having urshela playing 2nd base one day.. etc.......pitching guys like freaking Nick Goody and Tyler Olson in crucial situations yesterday.

Jose Ramirez has sat out almost half a dozen games during the streak- Bruce has sat out like half a dozen games during the streak. Talking of playing Kipnis in center.

i dunno.

i think that there is some truth to what you are saying- but its not like Francona is even CLOSE to managing games in a way where they "have" to win this game to keep the streak alive....most of the time it feels like the opposite to be honest.
