Looking at the standings this morning, I think there are only four teams in the AL that are certainly deceased (i.e., cannot reach the playoffs). Looks to be six such teams in the NL.
Alls I knows is it's August 6th and the Jays are 4.5 back of the Yankees with 6 of their next 9 against them. This is going to be a fun fucking 2 weeks.
Means nothing if they can't get over the Yankees. Has to be the goal here with 13 games against them.Definitely a couple of interesting series. J's seem to have made some nice moves.
This week's games with the Cubs is going to be exciting(excruciating??) for me. We get them again later this month so it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out!Alls I knows is it's August 6th and the Jays are 4.5 back of the Yankees with 6 of their next 9 against them. Injuries will fuck up anybody and the Jays are just as at risk.Gonna be tough to catch the Yanks. 6 in the loss column and the yanks have 8 or 9 more home games than road and no trips outside the time zone. But the Yanks are always a hair away from losing starters
Yeah, they have a much better chance at getting the Wild CardGonna be tough to catch the Yanks. 6 in the loss column and the yanks have 8 or 9 more home games than road and no trips outside the time zone. But the Yanks are always a hair away from losing starters
