Besides the fact that Sandoval got pulled early from this game, presumably due to injury, McCutchen has actually been the better hitter and should be the right fielder.

I'm on the fence with this one. On one hand, Johnson was pitching well and, with a 5 run lead, he could eat innings without causing too much damage, provided there was a quick hook, which there was. But, on the other hand, Johnson has not been good this year, so why gamble after 2 solid innings? Pinch hit and bring in someone else.

More important is the latter. A sweep is psychologically critical for both clubs.
