Probably so. But I'll bet (!) that pretty much every team is in the same boat, or worse.

Without looking, probably few if any teams have 5 effective starters right now. To your point, it doesn't make OUR situation any better, but at least we're probably all in the same miserable company.

Offense is starting to click a little more consistently now as well.

They don't have any big time hitting superstars but they have quality hitters all up and down the lineup and a few on the bench too. Lots of depth, very good for the regular season.

I always cringe over this but it may be necessary this year.

However, I'd like to see the Giants try Winn and/or Beck in the rotation first, see what they can provide in that role.
