Looks like some other transactions besides Haniger going on the IL is coming up. I wonder if Davis is going on the IL or if Ryan Walker or Casey Schmitt is getting optioned. Got to make room for both Matos and Villar.

By the way, very excited to see Matos up! Look forward to the start of what could be a beautiful MLB career.

Its weird that the Giants already announced that Villar and Matos are both up and Haniger is on the IL but there is no formal announcement for the other roster move that needs to happen. Are they really going to option Ryan Walker or Keaton Winn? If they don't put Davis on the IL, I don't see any other moves right now.

Anyone can hit into a DP. It sucks, but I am not overly concerned.

At least he put together a nice AB. He watched a close ball, a wide ball and a strike he likely couldn’t do anything with. For him, that is promising.
