Couturier frustrates me because his offensive instincts/skills are not what I had hoped they would be when they drafted him.

He's still a very valuable member of the team though.
His offense for lack of a better term is plain frustrating to watch.

His best 2 months were March and April. As las likes to say, he seemed to keep his feet moving and played much better. I also think he looked better once Filppula arrived.

He kept his feet moving in the world cup and looked very good. If he had any offensive skill he would've been in the scoring leaders as he created a ton of scoring opportunities for himself.

"Still, Couturier’s 1.85 Points/60 ranks him 70th in the NHL among forwards over the past two years, which essentially makes him a low-end first line scorer."

I think that line there pretty much sums up why the Flyers haven't been very good the past couple years. Their best even strength forward is 70th in the league. Yikes.

Schenn being next at 1.57 is even more yikes.

"In 2016-17, his scoring rates dropped a bit from the previous season, as he posted a 1.76 Points/60. That still put him in high-end second liner territory at 109th among NHL forwards with at least 500 minutes, and more importantly, still led the Flyers."

:gaah:

As has been stated on this board previously, the only thing REALLY holding Couturier back is his lack of productivity on the PP. But geez, all 31 teams would love to have a strong 5-on-5 scorer and defender who is also a very good penalty killer.

Please keep it going we need to get to 5K. I'm pretty sure we have never met our goal in the 5 or 10K to win a cup thread and im pretty sure that's why we haven't won the cup.

30 teams x 12 forwards( 4 lines) =360 forwards

Seeing if this makes it look better- lol

Unfortunately, it seems like the luck of the Nashville Predators has finally run out. We'll see what they can do at home, but it's not looking good right now. I don't know if they can beat the fucking Pens 4 out of 5 times. They have to at least defend home ice.
