you're right about the weather, of course and yes, it was Stanford .... but golsen made some very bad plays that had nothing to do with the fact it was Stanford. the holder blowing an extra 6 points that would have put this game away had nothing to do with stanford

I was thinkig the same thing. Every call that was replied he was sure was going against ND. And they were all obviously going to be called for ND. Usually he's a solid announcer. Today seemed like he was pulling for Stanford.

Great win. Im still pumped about the game. We beat a very good stanford team. If you really look at this game we could of won this easily. 2 missed FGs because of the holder and 2 turnovers. Here are some positives and negatives.

Positives:
Defense is one of the best in the country
Golson drove us down for the win. Having a bad game but he still managed a game winning drive.
Team effort.
Beating a top team. our 1st real test.

Negatives:
Poor game plan on offense by kelly. I just didn't like it
Too many drop passes
Need to find a new center.
Defense let up a score after taking the lead
Still no run game.

Overall Im happy about the win. Today was upset weekend and we ended up winning after letting the lead up with 2-3 mins left in the game. BIG win. Nice to see Golson keep calm on that 4th down. Golson needs to to better overall. Defense kept us in the game.

I agree, typically I like him today, just not today. I know I was all nerved up watching the game but he blew the call all day long in my opinion. But yes I do think he is a good announcer overall. I guess we're all allowed a bad day every once in awhile.

I agree, that had to be pretty darned exciting to be there as a recruit. Second great recruiting game along with the Michigan game for a great all around exciting experience. Cross your fingers and your toes.
