Now let me ask you this. Do you think we are better then the Broncos, Saints or
Seahawks?
Who gives a shit? That's not what this thread was or is about. It's about us being 4-2, and it not being too damn shabby.

I enjoyed the win just as much as you did TP. Nice to know I'm a "miserable
douchebag and whiny dick"
I doubt you did, and you certainly are a whiny dick. You come in here and tell people to tone it down all because we're happy being 4-2. :stfu:

Why in the holy hell are we talking about how we match up against the Broncos? Good lord people!! How about discussing how we match up against the Bengals.

Agreed- our next two match-ups are tough for sure. The Bengals and Cowboys are both tough teams, but both are at home, luckily. If we win both we advance to 6-2 and playoffs become a near-lock. If we can at least manage to split we're still sitting at 5-3 and in the driver's seat for a wildcard spot.

Big two week stretch coming up before our bye. We're looking at getting Burleson and Montell Owens back, plus some of our dinged up starters like Fox, Mathis, Scheffler and Edwards will get an extra week to get healthy.

Apparently none of that matters, though, and we're not allowed to celebrate wins until we beat the Broncos, Squawks and Saints in consecutive weeks...

I for one wouldn't mind sticking with the tandem of Pettigrew and Fauria. Scheff can take as long as he needs. ;)

No doubt, :10::agree:......Now let me ask you this. Do you think we are better then the Broncos, Saints or Seahawks?

I'm just being honest with my opinion. I don't think we are there yet, so 4-2 is good with a 2-1 div record. But as usual I also notice Green Bay has a 1-0 division record and let's be honest thats better then 2-1.....They beat us. I'll get on board when we win the division and beat Green Bay at home.

Hopefully no one thinks they are better than those teams. The lions arent super bowl contenders but they might just compete for a playoff spot. Its hard to guage if the lions are decent though they cant seem to play complete games with a healthy bush and johnson nor have they played one entire football game. We see halves where they dominate and halves where they completely disappear. Its baffling. The browns have a legit defense and the lions dominated them at their place. Imo this win has been the most impressive so far.

I think of the teams listed there, I dont think we could beat the Saints right now. I do however, think we can hold our own vs the Broncos, and yes I think we are better than Seattle. They are not that impressive.

I could see the seahawks...maybe, but i just cant seethe broncos, saints or patriots

Kind of scary that the Broncos will be getting one of the best defensive players in the entire league back and still went 6-0 without him.

Saints and Pats could be home wins. Maybe we could beat the pats on the road too.

I'll be honest, I wanted to see them against an elite QB. When they went against Rodgers, they held up better than I thought. Maybe it was cause they are so accustomed to playing against him.

I know coaches are blasting Slay but the dude has some tight ass coverage every time I seen someone test him. His PI call was pretty weak.

We still have Scheff?

Then where did this bag of weed and bag of miniature reese's come from? Oh well. I guess it's not that important.

Who said anything about us being the best team in the league? You're the only one making these comparisons.

Quit being such a whiny dick all the time. Nobody even said anything even remotely "homerish" and you still feel the need to come in and piss in everyone's cheerios.

You go right ahead and continue to be a miserable douchebag, the rest of us will enjoy this win and enjoy being in 1st place in our division 6 weeks into the season.

I don't want to take sides here, but you guys have it all wrong.

It's miserable dick and whiny douchebag.

Geeez.

I must say, I thought the NFL were quite the pricks, making the Lions play 4 of the first 6 on the road for a SECOND straight season. I figured 3-3 at best, 2-4 likely. 4-2 with 6 home games left is definitely a pleasant surprise.

I predicted 7-9 for this team, so I guess I'd better be prepared to eat a sizeable helping of crow, especially if they can stay reasonably healthy.

You think it's possible 3 teams from the north could make the playoffs?

I seem to remember that it's happened before that three teams from the same division have made the playoffs (like, Detroit, Green Bay and Minnesota back in the 90's?). One takes the division, the other two are the wildcards. Not very likely, but mathmatically possible nonetheless.

Realistically no. SF and SEA are almost locks for the playoffs. That only leave 1 WC. Good chance that WC spot goes to the North right now though.

Aww, c'mon Kreton. Let the FANtasies play out - it's still early enough that it could still happen.

Looking at their remaining schedules, both the Niners and Hawks could easily win 11 games. There aren't going to be 3 11-win teams out of the north. The Lions need to stay ahead of either the Bears or the Pack...ideally both. There may not be a .500 non-division winner in either the east or south.
