Peeps in the City need to chill. They were only 5 games over .500 at the ASB last year. I understand the expectations are since we have all those additions to the roster, the offensive output should be better...so the slow start once again is concerning. But that concern should disappear after the first 6-game win streak.

Mostly agree, but Wright needs to be taken from the #2 hole ASAP........I think the offensive concerns are fairly legit, but overall its the best staff in baseball, so they should get enough where they will be fine......

He could play well in stretches but seemed to have his miscues at the worst possible time...like, say, in the World Series. Not that that particular error lost them the whole series, but still...

Hopefully they just walk him a lot. One would expect Mets pitchers would know how to pitch him, but they haven't done too well with the Royals, which is like a whole team of Murphys.

As far as I'm concerned, he can hit 6 solo homers per series as long as nobody else gets on base.

No problem w/dropping Wright down in the order. Maybe a little shifting is just what they need. Granderson isn't getting it done at leadoff, either.

Another thing that should be played with a bit.....I think D'Arnaud will hit at some point, but while he struggles and plays porous defense, I think Plawecki is a legit alternative and should get some more looks
