At least Posey didn’t get to scoring position. That would have just been embarrassing.

Wow, progress from the offense. They not only got a hit, they didn't strike out one time that inning! I feel an extra base hit this game.

Thus far this season, our batters have drawn 17 walks and our pitchers have issued 31. I don't know if the hitters are embarrassed for the pitchers and are trying to show them what they need to do or if the pitchers are embarrassed for the hitters and are trying to show them what they need to do.

Edit: That doesn't count the 5 free passes issued by Beede tonight or the inevitable walk given from Moronta.

I don’t think they “struck out one time” in any inning this game...

Berenger is a good call. But I was just thinking he kinda looks like Ramiro Ramirez.

Edit: RAMON Ramirez...

If the Giants are out of it by the time the deadline comes around, I think we actually have some pieces to liquidate. This is a pretty good bully.

The problem is, that seems to be the one part to keep intact. Most of the guys are young and controllable for multiple seasons (Moronta, Johnson, Osich, Gomez, Okert, etc). Think we could dump Dyson and Watson?

At the current rate, the offense projects to walk 275 times this season. The pitching staff is projected to walk 600 batters. For comparison, the 2017 squad drew 467 walks and the pitching staff issued 496 walks.

Another hit with RISP without the runner advancing.

Unbelievable.

The 9-70 is not a season strong as it looks...

Unfucking believable. 2 hits with RISP and a total of ONE advanced base.

That's why I'd much rather see some stat that shows the percentage of at-bats with RISP resulting in a run scored.

Not so sure about Dyson.

Come on, Posey. Remind us why you are the face of the franchise...
