I’m sure you’d love to see this get to 7 games.
yes and no....

if it gets to Gaqme 7 and the Sixers win itll mean they have a ton of momentum, and confidence, and will have grown as a team and shed some of that youth and inexperience.

Id lovea game 7 if the Celts win...i dont want the Sixers to win.

I can see that. I predict the 76ers win game 5 and then have a letdown in game 6 at home.

After the C´s won game 1 vs Philly.... a common opinion floated out there was that the Celtics benefited from participating in a 7 game series the round before... and that Philly was actually at a disadvantage because they were ¨rusty¨ or what-not.

Well, people make the narratives to fit the outcome. If Philly wins game one the narrative is Boston was tired.

The commentators have to fill airtime with something.

I don't buy that for a second. This isn't CFB were you can have 3 or 4 weeks between your last game & a bowl game. Saying they were rusty is nothing more than an excuse instead of using the word inexperienced.

They shot 19% from 3 so I think that led to the “rusty” line of thinking. Not sure what the cause was there. Some maybe shot selection but they missed their open looks too.

I think your 76ers just ran into a more experienced team. Which sounds a bit odd to say seeing how young the Celtics are. But there's no doubt Philly's future is very bright.

Could be. But even the veterans shot poorly in game 1 from 3. Redick 2-7, ilyasova 0-3, Covington (to the extent you count him as a vet) 0-4. Belinelli 1-2. That’s 3-16. Pretty bad.

As far as the other games, inexperience is hurting the 76ers. But so is lack of discipline. Stupid turnovers at really bad times in the game.

I think the difference is that Stevens came up with some tweaks that the Sixers haven't really figured out how to handle. In the 3 losses, they looked confused a good bit of the time.

What will be interesting is if the game 4 win was about Philly being desperate and the Celtics figuring they'll close it out at home. Or if Philly has finally figured out the Celtics defense.

If it's the former, the series probably ends in game 5. If it's the latter, it will go at least 6.

Huh.....

Looks like that anti-76ers rhetoric is starting to become a reality with the media.

It's weird that they take umbrage with TJ McConnell looking at his hand like it's hot. But, they love EMBIID's troll game.

Nevertheless, looks like the love affair is almost over.

Coming off his devastating injury, I'm guessing he's a less valuable trade bait this off season... I doubt it.

A Celtic trade of some sort does seem likely, though... it'll be interesting. From the Celtics point-of-view, they have so many valuable pieces... it'd have to be for a bigtime player... or else why do it?... right?

They're not just gonna trade a Jaylen Brown and/or a Rozier and/or an Irving (yeah, I said it: Kyrie) for another good player... it'd have to be a monster like Kawhi Leonard or Anthony Davis.

It would hurt Dannys reputation to trade Hayward, plus, I am betting Brad is going to know exactly how to make Hayward even better. To me its Rozier or outside shot Kyrie, but who knows, Boston likes their roster and they have staggered contracts and lots of picks. oh the spoils.......................

Boston goes from 1.5 point underdog to 1.5 point favorite. 62+% of the money appears to be on Boston.

Looking like a 76ers win to me.

Strong Rumor Rihanna will be at the game, courtesy of Terry Rozier. Maybe they will play her songs during breaks !

Trying to throw Embiid off? He’s going to put up 500 points if Rihanna is in the building.
