That's really got to suck being there, thinking they have won and finding out your team loses on review.
Something needs to change here. I am all for a Carlisle firing because he's not good enough to enforce motivation. But Cubes and Nelson love him and say he's here for life. The team is not going to get better without some serious chill inducing coaching. Avery lit a fire under this team for a couple years. It burned out, but it was because the league was changing. Boston and LA found a way to beat the fundamental system of the spurs, mavs, suns, and pistons and Avery could not do anything about it and his style was done. But the mavs need a head coach who can get the players that can defend the big scoring juggernauts. It's not Carlisle.
Have to hand it to the officials at the end. That took some stones to overturn that shot and call it against the home team. Majority of the time, home team will get that call because home team.

That really was a sloppy game offensively for both teams. Both sides did play some good defense at times but there were so many unforced turnovers and just really bad shot selections all night by both teams.

That is why I did not want the Spurs to play Dallas.
Memphis is tough and should never be taken lightly or the Spurs will lose as well.
but Dallas is a veteran pain in the ass team.
Dallas is far too proud to roll over for anyone.
And I hope the Spurs did watch this game though and don't take game 2 lightly.
