Giants should sign Kimbrel, corner the market on closers.... Smith, Dyson, Melancon, Kimbrel, Watson all closers at one point.... then trade every single one of them.

huh...I read an update on ESPN where Gott came in to face one batter and gave up a double. Now I see it was Bergen.

ESPN messed up on their coverage yesterday. They showed that Melancon was initially called in to replace Bergen but then Moronta was brought in before Melancon even threw a pitch. It took them a couple of innings to fix that error.
And I thought it was strange that Bochy brought in Bergen in that kind of situation. He has three lefties and he uses the Rule 5 guy in a high leverage situation. Granted, it was the 6th inning, but two on with no outs and bring in an untested rookie? It seemed risky.
