My wife tried pushing a dumb, Michigan fake holiday (sweetest day) and I put the kabosh on that. Then she scheduled our wedding on that day, unbeknownst to me.

Our department head brought in like 10 pies this morning and I was stuffed with pie by 9am. I can't tell if it was awesome or disgusting lol.

Also, I had a serious stomach thing like a week an a half ago and pretty much everyone in my office and in my family also got it at or after I did. Pretty nasty thing going around and after 24 hours it's like nothing happened.

Yup, and then last week I got food poisoning....luckily it didn't come along with a fever like the norovirus did. I've had bad luck with that lately. And this latest spat came during a 6 day power outage, so I was puking in my parent's basement with a wife and two kids.

My wife has already had a shitty week and on top of everything has to work on Saturday. I told her tomorrow is hump day (i.e. Wednesday and crap week is half over). She misunderstood me and said screw that I'm tired and you can fap.

It's this year on two of those links/stories..... I included the Michigan State University link from last year because it has a brief but good description of what to do when someone in your family contracts the norovirus.

Lots of folks have been getting it in the Detroit area over the past few weeks... I'm seeing it on my Facebook feed.

There are seven people in our household, and so far four of them have gotten it in the last week... hopefully I will be spared.

Mine was effectively on Saturday. Hung out with an ex, which is smart, I've decided. Didn't have steak, but had some damn good bone marrow and then some scallops. Then stuff happened later.
