ASU had 11 offensive possessions. 4 went for TD's, 3 went for FG's, 3 punts, and one turnover. Yet he's standing by the claim they adjusted and he's proud of them. :L

Dat 2nd quarter tho. lol

Oregon took their first lead in the 3rd quarter. OD said they love the desert and that Tempe is their 'Home Away from Home', and then N'keal Harry made the Oregon defense looks like clowns.

All of this without our best defensive player, Crump.

Went to bed before the bitching about the spot of the ball. Are you fucking serious man? There is being a big fan and then there is being delusional. Seek some help buddy.

Way to make adjustments in the 2nd quarter tho.

Yeah its a serious question why didn't they review the spot? He's 6'6, the spot was within inches of a first down and it looked really close to me on initial play and the brief replays.

The 'serious question' is why does it matter when you're up 63-17?

Oh you don't say because after they reviews ASU's fumble, that was fumble, but they decided to say it wasn't they found the spot was short and put ASU into a 4th down situation, which they attempted to get and didn't get it. Maybe they moved the spot back in that replay because they knew it was a fumble, but couldn't overturn because of the initial call on the field.

reviews of spots ESPECIALLY if they determine an outcome of the game usually are reviewd. There is ZERO reason that spot shouldn't have been reviewed. it was damn close and I am curious as to why they didn't review it? That would have put Oregon at midfield, new set of downs and rolling into ASU territory with time and good position to win the game.

63-17, doh.
At the duckies house, doh.

That just goes to prove his point at how important that spot was. It caused Oregon to score 4 less touchdowns and ASU to score 3 more touchdowns than was to be expected.

No matter what your view on the spot, that's a massive swing around.

Oh yoohoo, @OregonDucks... now that you have seen that he was clearly short of the 1st down, thoughts?
He's not going to give us the manifesto this week sadly.

They play Cal, WSU, @stanford, and then @UCLA all in a row.

Manifesto comes maybe two weeks from now? :noidea:

I mean what kind of adjustments are they going to make against Falk and Leach's offense. Will he be proud they only hang 56 on them?

It looked closer in real time.Herbert did have the ball stretched out before he pulled it back after the play.Would need to find the clip. But what I did't get was.Oregon had 3 time outs still.Games on the line. Why doesn't Taggert chance a time out for a review of the spot? At that point theres really nothing to lose right?

Honestly though, the real point is it doesn't matter either way. They gave up 37 freaking points!!!!!! You really don't deserve to win any game you give up that many points.

Wasting your energy on Pac12 ref calls when your team played that badly is entirely misplaced blame. It's delusional at best. Trying to justify a loss over ball placement on a desperation 4th down scramble run from your QB seems pretty lame.

This is true. But if a team has a shot to tie or go ahead. And you have the time outs. I think it's more evaluative to take the chance on the spot. Than burning time outs to be pinned deep with no time. That's bad game management late imo. And can't really complain about a spot if they chose not to challenge it. Especially with PAC refs. They may have got a good spot off of PAC ref confusion. Really wasn't sure what Taggart was thinking
