I thought his momentum was going forward and he stretched the ball out at first. But he actually hopped forward a bit after he was already down. In the still he's a good yard to two yards behind the marker. The measurement was a lot closer than it should have been.

Cal has shocked me, I can't believe how an air raid team can switch offensive philosophies completely and be better than the previous year. Guess in a way, it's great they don't have a returning QB. I don't know if Herbert is going to be able to slow it down enough to ever allow Oregon's defense get enough rest.
