Who's in and who's out? Sellers or Buyers?
Giolito is the name that I hear come up most often speculatively. Chicago probably tries to deal him even if they aren’t that far back. Too many teams in the hunt need SP.27-41 and only 8.5 GB. They're in a hole, but the rest of the Central isn't in much better shape.
The only teams I'd say are dead are KCR/OAK/WAS/COL.
Anyone want Bartolo Colon? Apparently he didn't retire even though he hasn't played in years. He did play in the Mexican League in 2021. Why doesn't he just retire, I don't get it.

I had no idea the Cardinals record was that bad. It's puzzling, until you look at their starting rotation. Yikes27-41 and only 8.5 GB. They're in a hole, but the rest of the Central isn't in much better shape.

Any chance that Corbin Burnes is still available for trade? I know that his arbitration hearing created some bad blood between him and the organization. But the Brewers are still “in it”. I would love for the Phillies to get in on that. He isn’t a FA until after the 2024 season so it’s more than a rental.
Twins need to say fuck it and swing big this year. Considering how badly the Reds bent us over for Mahle, odds are whoever we trade away will suck.
Swing for Goldy or Arenado. The AL is wide open if this team can get a bat or two.
Guessing they just focus on random ass relievers. Couldnt even get Chapman for a high end.
Doubt Brooks Lee makes a difference for Arenado. First ballot HOFer that is still in the back half of his prime, with a deal for four more years.I don't think the Twins have the bullets to get either of them. Both prospects from the Berrios trade have flamed out. Do you really want to trade Brooks Lee (The only truly great prospect that isn't up) and change for a rental, win a bad division, and just get fucked up by the Astros, Rangers or Rays?

Goldy somehow is still holding on like its his prime and only locked up thru next season. seems the easier target, wouldnt be a rental, but would be a real expensive guy to add.
Goldy would be as safe of a 36 year old add as there could be. (36 next season anyway). But I’m in your corner on this.Forgot Arenado signed that big deal before being traded to St. Louis. I still don't like the idea of giving up Lee for Goldy, even though that wouldn't be enough. We've fucked our farm system pretty badly the last couple years though poor trades. I just don't trust this front office to make a good trade.
