Thank God Dan died before he saw this vomit.

Tomlin is going to be left with no choice but trade AB now......

And I can't help but think it's exactly what AB wants.

It's also not up to Tomlin.

And he isn't going anywhere without 10+ million coming back along with the picks. He's untradeable, unless he wants to give that money back so he can leave.

This is not going to resolve itself well.

If this doesn't push the Rooney's, or whomever to pull the trigger, it truly shows the sad state of this organization.

And under clown Brown and ringleader Tomlin, bank on this getting worse as it progresses.....kind of like it had thus far.

It might be the emotion talking right now, but I don't want to watch the Steelers next year if Tomlin is still coach. Why bother?

I only watched half the games this season, because I can't stand the shit pile they are in.

I'm with ya dude......

I was thinking next year would just be a repeat of this year with the Bell bullshit......
It seems it's going to be even worse.......

I can't help but think, this truly is what is meant by.....THE INMATES RUN THE ASYLUM.

Rooney could have his pick of available coaches. Who would pick any of the other clubs over Pittsburgh if the HC vacancy was up?

Tell Tomlin he's being Retired now.

He can't make things better, things will only get worse, and more rotten.

This is so goddamned depressing, watching a slow motion car wreck. So much worse than the twilight years of Noll.

Go from one of the elite, most admired teams in the league, to potentially looking up at the Browns, and becoming a laughingstock of the league.

Fuck us.

You forgot the part where everyone in the car has their heads out the windows while the wreck is happening.....

At least the last few years under Noll the Steelers would somehow make the playoffs with a 9-7 or 8-8 record and even win a Wildcard game. The one year they even got to the AFCCG in Denver and made that competitive.

I've never seen a coach consistently do less with more than Mike Tomlin. Yes, the D isn't that great. That is Tomlin's side of the ball. Just with the loaded offense this team has, the Steelers should have made the playoffs. They couldn't even win a terrible division. Things have gotten very bad and the scary thing is, they could get much worse unless ownership does something.

I was reading an article that said something about Antonio Brown buying a 20,000 dollar ring that says "G.O.A.T." on it. Look that up for a laugh. Things are getting out of control.

'Out of Control' arrived in camp last July.

That had to get approval. The team approved that. You don't just decided to arrive in a helicopter on a whim.

Mark is often an ass, but this is succinct, and I agree 100%.

The Steelers job would be the most attractive in the NFL by far.... Big time stability, commitment to winning, strong ownership, etc.

I think it's clear that the Tomlin era has run its course. Hanging onto him now has a very low likelihood of success.

Yeah.... I see all the articles talking about how desirable a position it is. But lets be honest, the ownership of that franchise has NEVER been successful. Yes, they have a lot of young talent. But I don't think we should confuse the excitement of a young talented team with all the other measures that make a franchise successful over several years. That's why I roll my eyes when people say it's the best job available.

Barring injury the Browns should be a playoff team next year and if Mayfield develops they could open their window for a possible championship run. But the rubber meets the road when the team starts drafting in the back-end and starts making hard decisions about who to pay. Lets see how it plays out.
