I'm hoping that he has an "off-season" so that we won't have to give up two #1's to get him, and he'll fall right into our lap...

I can start a campaign to alert scouts about "questionable" people in his background, or hire a female to stage an "incident" and get it on tape - that should help :)

There you go! LOL.

Next year will be a year of the QB, so who knows, but I think he'll be a top 10 pick.

2018 NFL Mock Draft: Eagles find their answer at running back

Here's our answer, and I predict that he will be better than Zeke Elliott. I would give up 2 #1's to get Barkley. He's bigger, stronger, and faster than Zeke, and our line will be just as good as Dallas'.
You are crazy. No way should they give up 2 #1s for a RB. I like Barkley but come on now. And how can you predict he will be better than Zeke? Based on what? Zeke dominated his rookie season. It wasn't all Dallas Oline.

Hey Bucknut - your OSU bias is showing! Ill bet you he will be better, and as I said - he's bigger, stronger & faster.

As much as I like Saquan, there is no way I would give up 2 1st rounders for a RB. I think Derrius Guice from LSU may even give Saquon a run for his money to be the #1 RB taken if they both stay healthy. Guice has awesome cutting ability and jukes to go along with tackle breaking power. Bo Scarborough from Bama is another guy to watch ... he's an absolute animal with speed. Imagine a Scarborough/Pumphrey backfield going forward! For those of you who haven't watched either Guice or Scarborough, I suggest you-tubing them. No shortage of top notch RB's next year (assuming health of course).

I thought Guice was the better LSU RB this year. He's going to put up a monster season with Fournette gone. Guice/Fournette this year reminded me of the Alabama Trent Richardson/Mark Ingram backfield. Ingram was the older guy and got more touches but Richardson just popped every time he got the ball. That's what I thought when Guice got the ball this year.

Nick Chubb is also going to be a special back if he can ever stay healthy.

LOL I knew this was about Barkley before I even opened the thread. You Penn State homers are so predictable!

Seriously, he looks like a good prospect.

Scarborough looks ridiculous. Forget whose tape I was watching, some defender that played Bama in 2016, and #9 was looking unstoppable.

Scarborough imo is the upgraded version of Derrick Henry ... faster with better agility. Here's a pic of him as a Senior in high school.

Penn State proud, Baby! But, when I say that I'd give up 2 #1s, the caveat is that we would be drafting towards the end of the 1st round. I know, it is unusual, but I truly think he'll be the best RB in a loooooooooong time. Just my opinion.

I would take Barkley over Fournette right now ... I just wouldn't give up 2 firsts for a RB as it's a position where you will always have options if your OL is strong.

Either way, good argument to have when were debating between 3 or 4 guys on who's better. Maybe that's why the Birds weren't more urgent in finding a lead back in this draft, they're confident they will find one in '18.

Would you take Barkley over Elliott? Forgetting what I said about 2 firsts, I may not either, but I was making a point. To me, he is the most complete back I've seen in a long time. And, I'm not blinded by Penn State, as I've kidded, and I have never gone overboard on PSU players. Just watch SB this coming season, and be the judge yourself.

Exactly! They know that they can't find great first round caliber players all in one draft. If we can get a stud RB, LB, OT, and WR (if Matthews, Jeffrey, and Smith leave), in 2018, we can regain top spot in the NFC East again, and soon after, win a SB.
