I'll let you guys know once our silly conference posts the schedule
Pretty fair. Glad we can eliminate Meatchicken early this year. Nice slate of home games too...the NBC overlords will be pleased.
OKLAHOMA opens up with Lane Kiffen then Chip Kelly.

Good schedule. If you run the table on that one you should be in the CFP. Just don't know if that is possible.Next year will probably be the easiest schedule we have for quite some time. In 2019 we have to play L'Ville, UGA, USC, Michigan, Va. Tech and Stanford. The other ACC games are UVA, Duke, and BC so who knows where those programs will be, but my guess is at least 2 of them make a bowl if not 3(all did this year). 2020 we have Wisconsin, Stanford, Clemson, USC and L'Ville. 2022 we have already Ohio State, Clemson, USC and Stanford.
Sept. 1, 2018 Akron Home

Sept. 29, 2018 Purdue Home
Oct. 6, 2018 Wisconsin Away
Oct. 13, 2018 Northwestern Away
Oct. 20, 2018 Minnesota Home
Nov. 3, 2018 Ohio State Away
Nov. 10, 2018 Illinois Home
Nov. 17, 2018 Michigan State Home
Nov. 23, 2018 Iowa Away
Just another B1G schedule for Nebraska.
Yet amazingly the PAC will play more regular season P5 opponents on average than both the ACC & SEC. Go figure eh.Let me assist in the Scheduling debate.
First by Power5 League
The Big12 will play 36.7% of their OOC games against a team from another P5 league/Notre Dame
11 out of 30. Only one school will play 2 games against other P5 teams (Texas). One school
won't play any. (Okla State). 26.7% of their OOC games will be played vs 1-AA's. Everybody
will play 1 EXCEPT for Oklahoma and Texas who don't play any.
The ACC will play 33.9% of their OOC games against a team from another P5 league/Notre Dame
19 out of 56. FIVE schools will play 2 games against other P5 teams (Fla St, Clemson, Duke, Pitt
and Louisville). The other 9 schools play one. (The ACC is the only P5 league that has all their
teams play at least one game) 25% of their OOC games will be played vs 1-AA's. (The same %
as the Pac12). Everybody plays 1.
The Big10 will play 33.3% of their OOC games against a team from another P5 league/Notre Dame
14 out of 42. Three schools will play 2 games against other P5 teams (Ohio State, Northwestern and
Purdue. 3 schools won't play any. (Minnesota, Illinois and...you guessed it...Wisconsin) 0.05% of their OOC games will be played vs 1-AA's. Only Iowa and Illinois will play a 1-AA. (The Illni should play 5)
The PAC12 will play 25% of their OOC games against a team from another P5 league/Notre Dame
9 out of 36. Only USC will play 2 games against other P5 teams/Notre Dame. 4 teams won't play
any. (Oregon, Washington St, Utah and Arizona. Arizona, btw, is the only P5 team to have never
scheduled a regular season game in the 5-year history, including 2018, of the Playoff system).
25% of their OOC games will be played vs 1-AA's. 3 schools won't play any (USC, UCLA and Az St)
Everybody else will play one. [Note: For those that count Oreg State as a 1-AA the pct changes to 50%]
The SEC will play 23.2% of their OOC games against a team from another P5 league/Notre Dame
13 out of 56. No school will play more than one (God Forbid) and one school, Arkansas won't play
any. (I don't blame them). 26.8% of their OOC games will be played vs 1-AA's. Every school will
play one with ONE EXCEPTION...Florida. They will play TWO. They obviously didn't get the memo
three years ago that Idaho returns to 1-AA in 2018 as a full member of the Big Sky Conf. However,
before y'all get your hopes up in G-ville of returning to the Camelia Bowl, remember you MUST
have 5 wins vs FBS schools to be Bowl Eligible. Maybe in 2019 or 2020, depending on how the
single wing works out for ya.
Hopefully this settles some of the debates.

Get back to me when the SEC and ACC grow a set.Got to do something to make up for sucking ass.
I think it's the biggest challenge in the first six games. First road game with new QB. We will be riding a road conference streak, haven't lost a road conf game since October 2014, plus they beat us last year. Lot of pressure on for that game. Then go to Ames and lose

And that has what to do with the ACC and SEC being total chickenshits when it comes to scheduling.Get back to me when the Pac-12 wins a National Championship. What's it been 14-15 years....twice that for Washington.
And that has what to do with the ACC and SEC being total chickenshits when it comes to scheduling.

Washington who’s big OOC game the last two years was Rutgers and in 2019 and 2020 is BYU. Can he really tell anyone to “grow a set”?Wait....didn't Washington make the playoffs in 2016 only to crap the bed?
Well he can. He's going to look like a moron doing so but he can.Washington who’s big OOC game the last two years was Rutgers and in 2019 and 2020 is BYU. Can he really tell anyone to “grow a set”?
Washington set up that home & away with Rutgers when Wisconsin weaseled out of the series with the Huskies. It was a last minute deal and Rutgers was playing decent ball at the time. Now if you want to compare who's played the most regular season P5 teams in the past 30 years between Clemson and Washington then just give the word.Well he can.
