Washington set up that home & away with Rutgers when Wisconsin weaseled out of the series with the Huskies. It was a last minute deal and Rutgers was playing decent ball at the time. Now if you want to compare who's played the most regular season P5 teams in the past 30 years between Clemson and Washington then just give the word.

Who gives a shit? When was the last time you played a decent P5 OOC? 2012 when you played LSU?

We play South Carolina every year and since 2008 we've played a second quality opponent OOC. This is the case from this season until 2021 where the ACC screwed us with the Notre Dame rotation with three games in four years and we can't find an opponent willing to wait until 2024 for a return game. We have absolutely nothing to apologize for our schedule.

Our OOC doesn't have a P5 team because we got a waiver after Michigan canceled on us to play Notre Dame late. But that's probably a good thing because Chad Morris's first year could be rough. The game @ Colorado State might be a fun game for fans to go to though.
