cmon now.Shouldn't you be writing a 3 page explanation why LeBron has lost it because he'll be 34 before next season ends?
I said LeBron will be the best player in the NBA this year, and is likely to be the best player in the league the following year as well. But we are getting into uncharted territory for a player that is LeBron's age that has LeBron's miles on his odometer.
I just think that its a bad idea to try and increase LeBron's prime by taking him off the ball and playing him more in the paint where he will undoubtedly take much more contact and play against players that are taller, weight more, and are younger than him.
If I were a team, id do what Miami and Cleveland did- lessen the contact he takes by playing him on the perimeter and surrounding him with shooters that take those big men either off the floor, or out to the perimeter to guard shooters like the mutli time all star Kevin Love's and Chris Bosh's of the world.
but thats just me.
Maybe LeBron will be just fine at 34 years old banging in the paint with guys a that are taller, weight more and are a decade younger- with a paint that will be more packed then he has seen in a decade. It could work!
