Def don't need him, but given a choice, he fits much better with that trio than Ball does.

Ingram/PG13/Kawhi/LeBron as your 1-4 would be crazy. They can all shoot and defensively, they can all switch onto any position.

Oh, I absolutely agree.

But if I'm the Spurs, no matter what you better give me Ingram if you want Kawhi so bad.

You gotta think the Spurs want no part of him.

I think most solid organizations won't want anything to do with that family. Tough to see.

On a side note how fucking great would Lonzo look if he took his mom out of that situation and got her, her own space and caretaker.

He is a disgusting piece of Shit.
to think the Lakers could have had Jason Tatum instead of Lonzo Ball and his baggage is crazy.

You could have what looks like a sure-fire franchise player - and instead have the worst shooting back court player in the league with a dad that wont keep his mouth shut and is a constant embarrassment. They should trade Lonzo to Utah just out of spite. lol.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
that would be INCREDIBLY scary but its not happening. You think Pop is going to be bullied into giving Kawhi what he wants if he abandons them like that when there will be significantly better offers on the table?

There will only be better offers if the other teams believe he will stay long term. Going rate on 1 year rentals - even superstar rentals - isn't a lot. I could say CLE risking a 1 year rental with Kawhi - if it gets LeBron to stay. Hard to imagine anyone else paying to rent Kawhi.

Agree. Sending him to the Lakers is a long-shot at best. They don't even have the best package to send back for him.

i think its worth the gamble if you are Philly or Boston.

Do you think Kawhi would really walk and leave money on the table if he was in a good, winning situation like Philly or Boston?

maybe...but i doubt it.

you have a valid point- but i dont think it will scare off offers as much as you i suppose.

if anything I think they would send him to the East not to have to play against him- esp. since Boston and Philly can make better deals.

Shit- if I am the Spurs id prefer Love and the #8 pick and say an Osman or Hood or something to having to take Deng and the guys the Lakers have.

Indiana had little interest in Paul George trade w/ Lakers -- and that'll be case for Spurs too. Boston gives Spurs best building blocks of assets -- one of young forwards (likely Jaylen Brown), its own 18 pick/19 protected Kings pick, etc. Lonzo to Spurs? Don't hold your breath.
