Daniels says he sees DeShields as our 2018 CF'er. Have to say that i don't share his view of DDJ's level of play there. I view him as a weakness that other team's will run on because of his lack of arm.

Yeah it sounds as if they are guys they would expose to rule 5. Thus the desire to trade.

May be only JD posturing but unless we get a significant defensive upgrade then we may have to roll with him and his wart of an arm.

His offensive production is playing a big part in JD's mind imo.

For sure but I think ther is a chance DDJ can play LF if we can dump Choo. Then Gallo takes 1B minus Deguzman breakout spring

Agree Kell but I think DDJ is penciled in until a change (Choo) actually is confirmed. We know DDJ is not first choice in cf but his offense will more than out weigh his bad play in OF most of the time. Hopefully this will be resolved and he will be in LF. The urgent need for pitching is certainly making baseball life difficult.
