After miserably watching 20 years of consecutive losing seasons and Hurdle getting them all the way to the Playoffs..for me...he's earned Manager for LIFE!

Yeah too early to make a change. No Marte really killed the season and with McCutchen and Polanco not producing that hurts. And to add fuel to the fire no Kang to help protect their missing production.

When Freese/Fraizer (IR) and Harrison are the best hitters that isn't a good sign for this team.

That poor kid. He seems like such a good guy, but it's one thing after another happening to him, and this is the worst so far.

Man hope him the best and wish him a good recovery. No need to rush him back b/c I am award of the psychological effect of this surgery.

There you go. Your top players are allergic to hitting especially with runners in scoring position,

Well we are making changes b/c of all the injuries. Talented Younger players are coming up an that't good. Let just get down to the nitty gritty our regular starters stink!!!!! Can't hit make to many errors. Best to let the young player start and sit some the starters. We know what our starters will do. How many times have you seen our Pirates with bases loaded no outs or bases loaded one out. You know the results.

Maybe we can promote some young players and have a good mixture of the regular starters. I mean you have to admit some of our starters need to ride the bench occasionally.

Yeah their hitting is awful. The issue is who do you replace them with? No one is producing that could replace them.

Last night was just sad. The positives though are Cole looked great again with no run support.

Greinke noticed that the zone was two inches below the knees, and he lived there, to his credit. But getting strikes called down there, they weren't going to get much off of him.

Especially since we have to resort to Gift Ngoepe in the starting lineup at this point with all the players we're missing.

Oh yeah, I think the only call he didn't get was on McCutchen's 3rd at bat. His only mistake was throwing the same pitch at least 15 times thru the game to Polanco. It took Polanco a while and he finally took one for a ride.

It is a shame though that the Pirates hitters just can't seem to adjust and they might be, if not close, the easiest team to pitch against.

I concur. He blew another lead last night in the rain delay game. While we are trading Watson we can put Cutch on the table also with his double play at bat. Polanco is not that far off either. Let call up Meadows I mean he is not ready but we could spot start him. I mean he can't do any worse that Cutch.

Yeah at this point it is waiting until super 2 status but there is no reason to not bring him up now.
And while we are at it just DFA Jaso and get it over with and I would like to know why Brault is not on the on the MLB roster?

Meadows is still in the process of figuring out AAA pitching. He's only started hitting the last two weeks or so. I don't think he's actually ready to be a Major League hitter.

Jaso has been hitting lately. He's been our best hitter for the past couple weeks. And when he's not forced into starting in the outfield, he's a pretty good bench bat. No reason to dump him. I'd consider dumping Hanson before Jaso. He's fast, but that's about all he brings to the table.
