"south coders"????. I'll cut yah a little slack on this mistake, doug. I imagine that accurate sports coverage is hard to get at the YMCA...no Wi-Fi, poor TV and radio reception, all the newspapers used by the guys to cover their crotches at the movies.

I'm not going to give any exact numbers . too many variables. Here are my guesses for the 2017 season.

1. Cleveland - best team and best manager. Easily the number 1 pick to start the season.

2. Detroit Tigers - Nice (but young) starting pitching, fair bullpen, good offense. They could contend but they need some luck or Cleveland to fall. Unproven manager and GM.

3. Kansas City close to the Tigers, I don't trust them. This team makes their own breaks and that dangerous. It would not be shocking if they win.

4. Chicago White Sox - I like their off season. They have you good players ... this year may be too soon but their going to be up and comers.

5. Minnesota - I don't know much about Minnesota but they have a history of good seasons with under par teams.

Anyway looking for a good season of AL Central baseball and maybe knocking the Indians off their top spot.

The funniest thing i've seen someone on a internet forum blame a loss on is "too much moisture in the air". They were being dead serious too.
