Bad draw for Bayern. Bayern and Leipzig in the 2nd round? That should be the final. If Bayern loses, it will be pretty catastrophic to go out in the 2nd round. Ancellotti will be on the hot seat for that as already he is a bit for last year for winning only the Bundesliga.

I thought the big worry last year was Ancellotti putting more emphasis on Champions League over the Bundesliga. I read that was his usual MO at Real Madrid (Win CL, Not win La Liga).

This year they aren't good enough to with the CL (imo). Too many old pieces hanging around.

Too many old pieces like Ribbery, Robben, Boetang, even Neuer is getting up there. I hear grumbling within too now. Rummenigge not happy with Muller and Lewey mouthing off recently. Muller after the Bremen game and Lewey this week saying Bayern not spending enough money on talent. Ancellotti rumored to be leaving this summer possibly for a Chinese team and the young Hoffenheim coach taking over Bayern.

P.S. Who is injured more? Boetang or Marco Reus of Dortmund?

    Reus.

He'd be one of the most exciting German players of all time if he could have remained healthy.

no kidding. every time it looks like he's ready to tear up the league, someone breathes too hard in his direction and he's out for another month or two.

Ribery is/was an extremely dangerous player, but he's getting upo there, and has had a lot of injury issues the last few seasons. I'm surprised BM didn't go hard after Alexis Sanchez to replace him, though I expect they'll go hard after in at the end of the season when they can get him on a free transfer.

Robben is still good and very dangerous, but also getting up there.

Neuer is fine, still one of the best, maybe the best. He's just 31 and most GK's don't really hit their prime until their early/mid 30s.

I'm not very happy with FS1/2, as they're making me choose between Hertha and Koln tomorrow. Although I see the Koln match is being replayed later, so it looks like I'm watching Athletic Bilbao/Hertha.
