Bitterly disappointing loss. I was thinking of taping it because I knew I wouldn't be able to watch it live today. Glad i didn't. :pout:

What happened? I turned it off after the Spurs went up 1-0(3-2), so you need to help a brother out.

Seemed like the Spurs were cruising, place was rocking, Juventus was sleeping for 64 minutes

Higuian with a beauty goal at '64
Dybala off a great feed from Higuain, 2 minutes later at '66

Spurs were in shock, place went silent

Just like that, Juventus advances, Spurs never really threatened the tie

That Kane header that hit the post and was cleared off the goal line was about as close as it gets.

He was offsides

Not sure if the flag went up but pretty sure it did

I don't think it did. Was watching ESPNFC and they said he was offsides as well but the flag never went up

Nice to see Gonzalo Higuain actually score in a big game considering he usually choke in the big moments as we've seen several times with Argentina

And last seasons CL

When I watch him vs the best, like Real or Barca, he seems like he isn't on the same athletic level as those guys

Against Real in the Final, he looked so slow compared to those other guys

Btw

Really good Documntary on Juventus on Netflix

True. But to be fair, for the last decade or so, everyone (Higuain, Aguero, Di Maria, et al) except Messi has choked for Argentina.

I've always said that's the biggest difference between Messi and Maradona. Maradona won a World Cup because he had teammates that stepped up when it mattered (Maradona did not score in the Final, three of his teammates did) whereas the last 10-12 years, Argentina has relied solely on Messi, and as good as he is, he can't do it all, especially when he has 3-4 guys constantly marking him.

"First Team-Juventus"

Really really cool, its about 8 episodes into the first season

One thing youll notice is how beautiful Italy is, Jesus, everywhere they go, like something out of a movie

But furthermore, the pressure on them to win the CL is so so huge, its like the only thing that matters to that entire club

Having lived their for a while, Yes Italy is beautiful, especially the Piemonte region where Torino is. And yes, there is tremendous pressure on Juve to win, they are the most supported club in Italy.

Yup, I went to Italy in 2008, did the Rome to Florence tourist thing, and everything in between, Tuscany and a small town called San Giamenco (sp?) were the most amazing

Never been to Torino, that place just looks amazing, every inch of it
