Down 5-1 as of this posting. Schneider pulled already. I think we are witnessing the wheels falling off for this team. FLA and CBJ both win.

saw the highlights. I know highlights don't show all, like the saves, but jesus, those first 3 goals allowed.... i mean, typical Cory isn't enough to describe... f me....

This is tough though. We can max out at 100 pts right now if we win out. Last season, the lowest seeded teams finished 94 (West) and 95 (East) points. Obviously, this season is different but I'd think we can afford to lose two more games at the most and then hope Florida (ideally), CBJ, or Philly hits a losing streak.

Our problem is going to be our schedule. Games against the Pens twice, Tampa, Leafs, Caps, etc. Florida's isn't as bad but they also have some tough games toward the end.

we put ourselves into this position... bad extended play for a few times this year... we reap what we sow.

Offense needs to pick it up, our balls need to drop and play like we want it!

Got to beat everyone as much as possible. hate relying on teams to lose, especially the hot ones! lol

Going to be honest about it. That was a brutal game to watch. San Jose just controlled the game from beginning until the final few minutes of the third period. Cory was under heavy pressure early. However, he did let a few in he wouldn't have a few seasons ago. The guys just stink on the PP. A 5 on 3 PP and it's even worse. The Pittsburgh game is as close to a must win as possible. These guys have to want it or stop wasting our time. Simple as that at the moment.

It looks fine if we just take care of our game and win... get back to playing like we were, they need to find that again... this west coast road trip really messed us up at a bad time... If they can rebound and light up the Pens and get that good feeling back, then we can hold off Florida or maybe even overtake the Cryers.... but it all starts with this team playing better... They are getting pushed around out there, and that is killing our so called speed/scoring options we have been using... They must find a way to adjust... Plus the PP has been no exsistent lately, and that cant happen....

Probably would rather CBJ win. They are now 5 pts up on us while FLA is still behind us. We could still catch CBJ or Philly but with each game passing it looks more and more like the last spot will be between us or FLA.

Exactly. Had we not just lost two straight we'd still be in the thick of it with those other teams. Now, it's going to be us or Florida.

Tonight is huge. Could be the most important of the season. I was supposed to be going but now unable to.

Same defensive pairings.... though I would want Mueller and Santini in but I understand during the thick of things that a change like that won't happen unless injury related.

This game gas given me chest pains.... Hated the firat, luved the 2nd, nearly died in the 3rd..
