I credit Clemson's defense. Bama was moving on them effectively in the first half, but the Tigers made some effective halftime adjustments and all but forced Bama into being one-dimensional in the second half, resulting in multiple three-and-outs. Doesn't matter how good Bama's defense is - if you keep them on the field too long, they get worn down and vulnerable. No the obvious difference in this game was Bama's defense, they couldn't stop Clemson. Clemson's T.O.P. wore down Bama's defense. Clemson got over 500 yards of total offense.
Eh, 1 damn day of school won't hurt. Enjoy it. Cherish it. Hell, I'll be lucky if I'm your age by the time I see Tennessee win a Championship. Heck, spend time with the boys and watch a damn replay.
I'd like to offer my house as a "safe house" for the Bama coeds. We'll start a support group
Oh shit, that could be trouble.
I'd like to offer my house as a "safe house" for the Bama coeds.
8 years before I was even a tadpole.Back at the last Clemson championship, it was played over the holiday break and nobody had to miss school the next day. I remember being allowed to stay up and watch that whole game with my dad.

I did... I left with I think 2 or 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter.. Had to get up at 4 am.. Wanted at least a few hours of sleep..
Now Im wishing I called out sick
2 flat out illegal plays for those TDs.
I just wasted 3 hours of my life to see that NCAA officials don't have the slightest clue what OPI is.
What a waste of time.

It's not an illegal pick if the refs don't call it. Did the refs call several holding penalties during the entire game? Damn there were several PI's that should have been called, but apparently the refs didn't think they were penalties. The game is over and we can't go back and dissect every play, to see if it was a possible penalty,I didn't see the first one but the last td was an illegal pick. Ref should have had the balls to call that. That was way too easy. Oh well I won't lose any sleep
I was 10 at the time. I actually wanted Clemson to win that game and defeat the evil Nebraskans; wasn't yet to the point where my disdain for Tater-hood overrode my pride in my state.
I learned quickly over the next year just how much of a PITA those folks could be
