My only concern is that if we're only likely to take 1 RB in this class it should be a can't miss type of guy, his film looks decent however it is a highlight reel. Kids got a whole year to play yet so Id' say this'll not be the end of the story

It's funny how Earl Campbell's highlights are about the same picture quality as Le'Veon Bell's like WTF

This kid is playing in 4A. That's the 3rd tier of HS competition in Texas.

Rexy (Plano) 6A
Adam Taylor (Katy) 6A
Aaron Green (Madison) 6A
Quentin Castille (Laporte) 6A - Callahan's I know
Dontrayevous Robinson (Trinity) 6A

We thought Larenzo Stewart was a reach. Ended up at a JUCO in Iowa. Played 6A ball at Klein Oak.

Tommy Armstrong (Cibilo Steele) 6A
Jamal Turner (Sam Houston) 6A
Charles Jackson (Klein Collins) 6A
Dwayne Johnson (Bellaire) 6A
Trai Mosley (hendrickson) 6A
Givens Price (Alief Taylor) 6A
David Santos (Klein Collins) 6A
Joshua Kalu (Alief Taylor) 6A
Devine Ozigbo (sasche) 6A -Riley's guy
Hell Drew Brown even played 6A for southlake carroll!!

Every single Scholarship player from Texas on this team played 6A save for Kondolo who went the JUCO route.

Better than "or". He is both Earl Campbell and Le'veon Bell rolled up into one.

Quiet tho.

Only Nebraska, Colorado St, Kansas, Nevada, S.F. Austin, and Texas St are on to this.

If he's all they're saying he'll make it. Remember though, had Stanton attended the whole competition he likely would have won it.

I found out a while back that Stanton is pre-med. Damon Benning questioned his commitment and work ethic in the spring game broadcast.

I guess that would make sense with Johnny, Compton was pre med also but yet couldn't fully grasp bo's D

O'Brien has a real different skill set vs Stanton however

Dilfer would say Stanton's delivery was funky but his ball results were as good as anyone's. His ball results in the spring game were as bad as what people say about Tebows NFL practices. He couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that day.

He had some good things to say regarding POB
ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer, who works closely with the Elite 11 camp, offered this take on O'Brien's regional performance to Bleacher Report's national recruiting analyst Damon Sayles: "I watched his film, and a lot of times you're not sure what you're going to get when you see a guy in person. He really adapted well to drill training early. He probably took the drills to the competition better than anyone else. He applied what he learned early throughout the day and just stroked. He showed anticipation and showed timing. He showed a large catalog of throws. He was really impressive."

As the recruit's QB coach Steve Calhoun told the Journal Star: "That really just showed what his competitive level was right there."

The discussion on Aphonso can officially stop.

I know RBs when I see them, and this poor kid is not going to be a RB past High School.

He has zero instincts, zero ability to cut, just enough vision to see the massive holes that his line is paving for him......and average speed at best.

Something is up with this commitment. One of the coaches has a tie or something. He will not touch the ball once for the Huskers. Mark my word.
