One of my hopefuls for the class early 4* AZ DT Rand got an offer form Stanford recently and he's stated in the past if they were to offer he'd be hard pressed not to commit on the spot. He's camped at NU in the past and has family ties to the NE, will be interesting what happens with him in the near future

Personally, I think it's going to come down to Stanford and Nebraska for Rand, and it's going to be close. I really wish Stanford would have just stayed away, we'll have to see what Nebraska's staff can do to pull it off. The big plus is that he will likely wait to commit to Stanford to see if he can even get into the school (a reason we got Todd Peat Jr. was because he got denied admission to Stanford).

So as odd as it is to say this... let's hope his grades and test scores get him to Lincoln instead of to Stanford. if you catch my drift.

FYI Class size is looking like 16+3... so 19. Would expect some attrition. I think this class we hit the 22-23 number.

Definitely agree... best OG prospect in the country IMO... which should be good enough for a 5-star rating but not necessarily. There hasn't been more than one 5-star OG in the nation since before 2010

I'm compiling my Spring Big Board on both sides of the ball right now but it's a bit convoluted. not sure when Junior Day is... will probably wait a week to publish it as I'm not too confident in a lot of prospects being on our board right now. Things will crystallize soon.
