Agree with Eaglesnut on Gase. He is worth considering for sure.

On the draft, I think taking an OT at 13 and moving Peters inside for a year or two is definitely the way to go. Decker, Stanley, Jack Conklin from Michigan State--these are all guys we should be considering.

I have this aweful feeling that my favorite CFB player Bosa is going to be a Cowboy.. I really am feeling sick to my stomach. The dude is going to kill it in the NFL. Just what we need is another D Ware twice a season. It looks like this draft is decent for secondary players. Nothing great about the QB class. A few WRs but not a ton. Anyway we need to build up the OL.

I also just read that Vonn Bell is leaving Ohio State.

I am now extremely interested in trading down and putting him at safety

We now lost 9 starters both defense and offense declaring for the NFL Draft. At least 5 are projected to be 1st rounders. I'm still pissed that we did nnot get into the CFB playoffs. Tons of talent.
As for Vonn Bell, go back and look at my posts from a couple of weeks ago in regard to Vonn Bell. He is a very good tackler, he can hit, and has good hands for a safety. He fits the mold well with the Eagles secondary imo. I think Wings was on board with me on this. The problem we face is that he won't make it to the 3rd round. He will be a late 1st or 2nd rounder, which we don't have.

The Buckeyes do indeed have one of the top OL in the country, led by OT Decker, but make no mistake Elflein is probably my top choice on this line. The scary part is that we have a stable of studs waiting to get in and get dirty. I think Elflein is coming back, but not sure? Matt Burrell is coming in as a freshman and he is a mamoth. Look for him in 3 years.

This is what I'm talking about! I've been hearing a lot about Elflein. Some of the stuff I'm finding echoes your thoughts.

It's possible, but the Cowboys don't need defensive linemen, really. I think they take a QB.

They may take the BPA, which may be Bosa, and get a QB in the 2nd, to groom behind Romo, who still has a few good years left.

Clemson CB MacKensie Alexander declared ... that's 3 top notch DB's in he, Ramsey and Hargraves. I think one of the 3 could be our pick.

Vonn Bell would be my top choice. The guy can flat out do it all, especially ball hawking.

Ramsey most likely be there, but he is the cream of the crop from what I've seen.
That said, I still want to trade back and get a 2nd round pick, and pick Wentz as the QB of the future. If he's not still on the board, then one of the 3 CB's or Whitehair would be good.

He's a good one for sure, but as Wings said, whether we use free agency or not, we need to upgrade 4 out of 5 spots n the O-line.

As much as we need Olinemen, I wouldn't pass on an elite safety to force an OL pick. And you can never have enough top Dlinemen either if the draft breaks that way.

Robert Nkemdiche DT is one of my favorite players in this draft, he is perhaps the only player I would take over an OT. Him or Hargreaves.
