WR… (Haven't discussed) but I like Jeff Janis WR Saginaw (6'2" 212/ 4.43s 40)

Great...finally got our S!

DL...Kerr fits.

OL...Seantrel Henderson - OT MIA

Outside of Kerr, I like the WR Janis actually.

any hybrid TE's left, would mind drafting two young pass catchers

He could be our man...for the life of me I keep wondering if we're getting poached...if somebody picks Shaq I know we are then...lol

Might have to PM our 6th & 7th round targets

Henderson has already been taken. I think Janis is probably who I like the best at this point.

watched it, go get em

I went to look at Janis' 40 yard dash time again online and now it is posted as a 4.42? What happened to the 4.30 I watched? Did they have to redo it?

We landed Jeff Janis… On to the 7th round pick!

So far we have discussed:

DL… Zack Kerr (6'2" 334lbs)
OLB… Shaq Barrett from Colo St. (ATL's)
OL… No specifics, but there is plenty of good talent left in this pool:
1) Travis Swanson, C/G, Arkansas 6'5" 310
2) James Hurst, OT, UNC, 6'6" 305
3) Charles Leno, OT, BSU 6'4" 302
4) Michael Schofield, OT, Michigan 6'4" 303
5) Jon Halapio, OG, Florida 6'4" 320
6) Corey Linsley, C, Ohio State 6'3" 298

I could care less where we go with the 7th round pick. I'm thinking Kerr or an O-lineman. Nothing against Shaq Barrett, but if we had the 3 conditional picks then we obviously would have taken him and a few of the other guys we talked about earlier (Carrethers, Ellis, etc)

Shaq could very well be a sleeper, but he's not at the combine for a reason (no clue as to why not)...I would prefer a big here and would put Kerr @ the top of the list b/c we still haven't address NT.

Well it's debatable with McCullers... I know he's too tall but he could still fit the void. I'm game with Kerr though! I just wish we would have landed Ellis or Carrethers earlier, probably could have with conditional picks.

Just a thought... Well more of an afterthought... But if we really needed to "mine for gold" then I would have taken a chance on this kid:

Nickoe Whitley, FS Mississippi St (6'0" 205lbs)

This kid is probably my ultimate sleeper of this draft. He underwent ACL surgery after the Egg Bowl in December of LY. Hard not to pick a sleeper that people are going to largely disregard because of injury. This kid is solid when healthy. Arguably top 5 safety in the draft if he wasn't injured. His main issue other than durability is discipline (ejected in a game for throwing a punch). If a team can roster him while he recovers then they will likely strike gold. Kind of like Marcus Lattimore of LY's draft. Definitely worthy of UDFA, but chances are that he will be heavily shopped in UDFA if he isn't drafted due to the depth of this year's draft.

Well unless anyone has any other ideas, then we will go with Kerr.

Oh, I thought it was a done deal...yes, Kerr.

I really like our mock here...w/o the comps we still pretty much nailed every position we needed help at and and we got impact at the top. Colbert should go to school here...lol!!

Huge man, but I think some of his size would be negated in the middle because the C or OG would be able to get underneath his pads I think being 6'7". I see him as a brutalizing DE at around 320-325 or so. He's used to managing dbl teams already...the OLB on his side should get a LOT on 1 on 1 looks.

True statement.. If he dropped all that weight he would be a bigger version of Aaron Smith (6'5" 298) which would be frightening. I just don't know if he is quick enough at that size to be a DE. I don't think I've ever heard of a DE being 320lbs, let alone 6'7"? He would take up space for sure though!
