Watching the pacer vs the heat right now and can't help but be so happy for Solomon hill. He's playing very aggressive driving to the basket and getting fouls. Glad he's getting the opportunity to showcase his talents.

Agree 100% Of all of the players in Miller's first recruiting class (Momo, DWill, Solo, etc...) Solomon Hill is the one who has always been a true Wildcat.

He had committed as a sophomore in HS to Lute, because he had grown up as a UofA fan and it was his dream school... he always wanted to play there. When Lute retired (twice) Solo flipped to USC because he did not know who the head coach would be at the UofA. After the Tim Floyd thing, Solo talked to a recently hired Sean Miller, and committed (again) and the rest is history.

For a guy like that, who is a true Wildcat that spent 4 years here in Tucson to get his chance to play huge minutes, in only his second season is amazing. Hope this trend continues. He deserves it.

AG with the "block of the night" in the NBA yesterday.

He isn't getting a ton of minutes, but shooting 56% and playing great defense (obviously).

It's fun to read through the threads over at OrlandoPinstripedPost, the SB Nation spot for Magic fans. On draft night most (80%) of them hated the pick of AG at #4. Thought he was too much of a project, could not shoot, was a joke on offense, and his defense was over-hyped...

... now, if you read through the game threads, you see things like "I think that Aaron Gordon's defense is underrated"... and "00 is playing great right now, always makes the right play and does not force things". They are coming to terms with the fact that even though he is the youngest player in the NBA right now, he can do a few things... here and there.

Bad break for AG

... in case you missed it, Aaron Gordon broke a bone in his foot last night and will be out indefinatly. Usually takes from 6-12 weeks to recover from this type of injury, but it's always on a person to person basis.

It's really too bad, he was starting to get comfortable with the speed of the NBA game and was playing incredible defense the last week+. Hope he has a quick recovery and is back out there soon.

Definitely a great boost for AZ basketball in the NBA. Finals MVP and first year coach, not to mention Walton and Fraser.

Kerr needs his own wall (next to Lute) in the McKale Hall of Champions!

Looks like a smart move... A lot of the Lakers regular roster players will be in the summer league... he should get more playing time with Atlanta
